Hottabych

Konstantin Fedorov
A teenage fairy tale based on story "Old Man Hottabych" by Lazar Lagin

Four people failed geography. Liza, the studious girl, Goga, the street performer, Zhenya and Volka, the gamer. Volka's school year is still not over, and Lisa's pink pigtails prevent him from concentrating, and his father and mother have quarreled and moved away. The world around is falling apart and not put back together. It's hard to be a twelve-year-old human being.
Roman Gabria puts on a funny and tender play for teens and their parents. For those who are twelve or so, when you are no longer a child, but not yet an adult, when you already realize that the world is much more complicated than you thought, but do not yet know how to live in it. And for those who are no longer children, but not yet adults, whose world is falling apart and who need help to put it back together. For those who, in search of protection from the world, invent Hottabych, who can solve all problems, and for those who become Hottabych for their confused little man.

And in the end everything will be all right. And at the nervous geography Apollinaria Markovna, and at the strict guard Andrei Valerevich, and at dad and mom, and at the guys, and at Volka. Because everything must be all right in the end, if you are twelve years old and loved.
